Today several very good things were reported. From the Wall Street Journal :

U.S. retail sales rose 1.4% during May, the Commerce Department said, more than double the expected increase, a strong sign the economy was rebounding from its first-quarter sluggishness…And the Fed's Beige Book was largely positive, showing some growth in manufacturing and labor, with little inflation…"the manufacturing sector is picking up"

Inflation data was pretty tame. Bond yields fell, stock markets rose. All min all, some good news.
