NEW WAILEA/MAKENA PROJECTS UPDATE

February 8th, 2007

Things keep changing quickly in this market. The Rennaissance Hotel will be operating unit June of 2007 then will be demolished. In its place will be the Wailea Beach Resort. Though the St. Regis has bowed out, Barry Sternlicht will be heading this project. Approximately 100 one-bedroom units will begin at $2 million and 90 or so larger units will run from $3-$7 million. The developer will begin taking names at any time and we can get you access. Nobody has an "exclusive." Let us know quickly on this one.

Maluaka has also become public knowledge. We've walked the property several times and it looks better each time. It sits immediately south of The Prince Hotel and adjoins the 16th hole of the Makena South Golf Course. The views are staggering. The project's very large units will be priced in the $4.5 million-$14 million range and will require membership in a breathtaking 35,000 square foot private club with an infinity pool, restaurant and gym. While the owner and friends have already reserved half of the 71 condominium units, we can submit your name for a reservation as soon as the public report is released (estimated early March). This property will be absolutely spectacular. Contact us to get involved.
